3DX Trainer

Location: Leamington Spa (Hybrid 2 to 3days)

Job Purpose:

The 3DX Trainer is responsible for the development, delivery, and support of training for the PLM (3DX) Engineering tools used across Jaguar Land Rover. The role requires effective training delivery, user support, and collaboration with various teams to enhance user experience and proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Indicators:Successful delivery of new PLM training (software, business processes, end-user training materials).
  • Timely response to user queries and training requests.
  • Training quality measured by session count, customer satisfaction metrics, and feedback.
Key Interactions:
  • Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
  • Create Product & Services teams (Scrum Teams, IT Team).
  • Engineering Delivery Platform (Scrum Teams, Shared Services, Suppliers).
  • IT and product customers.
  • Accountabilities:Develop and deliver 3DX training efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct classroom training, webinars, and drop-in sessions for user support.
  • Provide on-the-job (at-elbow) support, especially post go-live.
  • Assist end-users in resolving PLM-related issues.
  • Create and update FAQs, training materials, and resources on the training portal.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
  • Experience in training the Dassault toolset, specifically 3DX.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional team-working skills.
  • Stakeholder management expertise to liaise between business and IT teams.
  • Ability to produce high-quality training materials and enforce documentation standards.
  • Agile methodology experience and understanding of Agile practices.
  • Ability to analyze user requirements, reconcile conflicts, and differentiate core needs from requests.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience Required:
  • 5–15 years of relevant experience in training, stakeholder engagement, and business support

  • Client-facing role requiring strong communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, lead, and support team members effectively.
  • Assertive, proactive, and able to build strong working relationships.
